Enhancing and Maintaining A Catholic Education
I would like to extend to you a warm welcome on behalf of our Catholic School Council. We have many hard working and dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to make our school council a success. As a council, we enjoy a close working relationship with the principle and vice-principles. We do our best to be the school community’s voice and believe that the more voices, opinions and ideas we can generate, the better for our students. It has been shown that a student’s success is directly linked to parent involvement in their education.
The council meets in e-Place, nine times during the school year. Each meeting is approximately two hours in length and covers a variety of topics, from curriculum to school news. We sometimes have special guests such as the School Superintendents or teachers wishing to showcase interesting new information/technologies and students with exciting projects to share.
Our mandate is to be your voice. We want to hear from you, so come out and join us at one of our meetings. Help us to get fresh ideas to keep an already energetic council strong.
